Executive Committee
The program’s Executive Committee plays a vital role in providing guidance on the program based on the members’ years of industry experience. The members of the board are executives appointed by the deans of the Haslam College of Business and Tickle College of Engineering. The committee members are responsible for providing independent perspective, guidance, and expertise on strategy, direction, continuing development, and ongoing implementation of the program. They bring in-depth experience and expertise in support of the program’s director. Executive Committee members volunteer to serve a 3-year term.

Steering Council
The program’s Steering Council is comprised of the members of the Executive Committee plus others selected by the deans of the two college alumni networks who support the program director on an as-required basis. The council members are also encouraged to provide feedback on the scope, direction, and curricula; connections to industry; mentoring of students; speaking opportunities; thought leadership on complex systems approaches; management challenges; and emerging needs of businesses. Steering Council members volunteer to serve a 3-year term.
