Biography
As a first-generation American, my journey has uniquely shaped my approach to success and fueled my passion for both business and engineering. Growing up in a family that values hard work and education, I learned early on the significance of perseverance and adaptability. These traits have been instrumental in my professional growth, allowing me to navigate challenges with resilience and determination.
One of the defining experiences of my journey has been my role as a League Leader with the Education Trust Program. This role has significantly enhanced my political activism and deepened my understanding of the importance of advocacy. Leading initiatives to boost political engagement among high school students, I have been able to encourage the youth to become more politically active and informed. This experience has not only reinforced my belief in the power of active citizenship but also honed my skills in leadership, communication, and strategic planning. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am creatively inclined and have a deep passion for art and fashion. Creating art and exploring fashion design are not only hobbies but also avenues through which I express my creativity and personal style
My strong communication skills have been a cornerstone of my educational and professional work. I’ve realized that effective communication is not just about exchanging information but about building relationships, fostering collaboration, and driving impactful change. Whether working on team projects or presenting complex ideas my ability to articulate thoughts clearly and persuasively has been a crucial asset.
In addition to my communication strengths, my background in business and engineering has been a significant advantage. Joining the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering Program was a natural choice for me, given my family's dual background in these fields and my longstanding interest in their intersection. This program will allow me to explore the fusion of business acumen with engineering principles, providing me with a skill set that I leverage to address complex problems and drive innovative solutions.
Looking ahead, my goal is to work in a technology-focused area where I can combine my business insights and engineering expertise to make a meaningful impact. I am driven to contribute to projects that align with my values and address significant challenges, ultimately working for causes that matter and fostering positive change in my workplace and beyond.
