Accounting & Information Management
Biography
My name is Jackson Bowser, and I am an accounting major and a member of the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering Program’s 2027 Cohort. I am a Knoxville, TN native and have always been a Vol.
I enjoy many outdoor activities such as golf, disc golf, and hiking. Additionally, I love photography and drawing. From the age of four until my senior year of high school, I played baseball. During the 14 years I played baseball, it taught me an immense amount about life—not just how to play the game and learn its fundamentals.
Baseball has equipped me with:
- The skill set and knowledge to overcome challenges
- Patience and diligence
- Understanding of true hard work
- Development of mental and physical toughness
- A mentor role for others
This sport has truly shaped me into the person that I am today. My drive for success in all areas of my life stems from baseball, as well as incredible support from my family and friends who push me to become the best version of myself.
I have always considered coming to UT and ultimately decided to pursue UT considering all this university has to offer: deep-rooted culture, vast traditions, great academics, premier athletics, and a welcoming community. I am very thankful for my parents and everyone in my life who has driven my deep passion to go on and do great things at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

- Versatile Career Path: Interested in working across different industries gaining valuable experience.
