Biography
I am a driven student with a passion for combining financial strategy and leadership to create positive change. I’ve developed key skills in leadership, communication, and strategic thinking through various roles that have allowed me to make meaningful contributions to the communities I serve. My focus is on leveraging these strengths to address complex challenges and foster positive impact.
I was first introduced to the Health Integrated Business & Engineering Program (HIBEP) by my older sibling, Eli Bosco, who shared the program’s success in combining two distinct disciplines—business and engineering—into a cohesive learning experience. Hearing about how students from both the Tickle College of Engineering and the Haslam College of Business collaborate to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios immediately sparked my interest. This interdisciplinary approach not only develops communication and decision-making skills but also fosters a broader understanding of how these decisions impact entire industries.
What excites me most about HIBEP is its focus on integrating system-based reasoning with problem-solving courses. I believe this approach creates a hybrid of business and engineering graduates who can add value to both fields. In addition, the program’s executive mentoring and seminars with leading industry figures offer a unique opportunity for students to connect with professionals who can guide their careers. For me, this makes HIBEP stand out. The program equips students to become future leaders capable of driving impactful change across diverse sectors.
Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue a career in investment management, with a particular interest in Private Equity and impact investing. My ultimate goal is to lead philanthropic initiatives that focus on underrepresented communities, including people of color and those from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. I see investment management as a powerful tool not only for driving financial growth but also for empowering communities that have historically been overlooked. The interdisciplinary collaboration and problem-solving experience I gain through HIBEP will help me develop the skills needed to lead these initiatives effectively, creating lasting change both within the industry and in the broader community.
