Biography
My name is Wren Anderson, and I am a Marketing student in the Haslam College of Business with a minor in Advertising. My desire to be a part of the 2026 cohort of the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering Program (Heath IBEP) stems from my interest in the mechanics of every product. I grew up in a very hands-on family that encouraged me to explore my curiosities and tackle projects on my own before seeking help. Engineering was always a pathway I felt drawn to due to my curiosity, but I knew I wanted to pursue something in the business world so I could directly interact with consumers. This constant desire to be involved in both fields is what makes Heath IBEP perfect for me.
Two of my most important values are honesty and hard work. I base my life on these two principles and consider them crucial within the work industry. I was raised to always put forth my best effort to avoid wasting my time or anyone else's. I believe that if you want to build sustainable relationships, honesty is the only way to do so. I feel that these two attributes bring forth my strengths to this program and any future career I encounter.
As a Marketing major, my dream job is to pursue a career in brand marketing with a company that aligns with my values and interests. I love the outdoors and spending time on the water or in nature. Some of my favorite hobbies include wakeboarding, camping, and reading. I believe the easiest way to love what you do and where you work is by aligning your own passions with the company you choose.
