Biography

Professional Interests: Management consulting, data analytics, information science, entrepreneurship, and real estate investment and developmentHobbies: Reading, watching movies, cooking, exercising, international business, and travelFollowing his graduation, Nicholas Brodeur is planning on moving into management consulting as an analyst in a major market such as Atlanta, Chicago, or Boston, to gain experience in strategic business with several different companies in their respective fields. Following a few years of work, he plans to return to school to obtain a master’s degree in business analytics, business administration, or information science, depending on which routes give him the best opportunities. Finally, after obtaining his master’s, he plans on building businesses that he hopes will help other people improve their lives. He joined the integrated business and engineering program to learn how to become a powerful multifield communicator and how to differentiate himself with a unique overall strategic perspective of systems and business, both of which will be invaluable skills as a consultant and an entrepreneur. In addition to the program, Nicholas is also currently minoring in information science, which will help him build a unique technical skillset to compliment his strategic skills built with IBEP. Combined, his big picture understanding of business and specific technical skills will aid him in being a leader on any team or project he is assigned.
