Biography
The key qualities that drive me are my pure determination to keep going despite failures and hardships combined with my work ethic. Throughout my life I have always had big goals and aspirations that many see as impossible to reach and unrealistic. I’ve always been willing to do whatever it takes to reach goals and seek solutions to obstacles rather than let them stop me. My drive, determination, and work ethic have gotten me to where I am today, and I believe will help me create an impactful difference in the years to come. My current experience is in Private Equity and Equities Analysis. On the Private Equity front my experience lies in the operations build out within Leveraged Buyout models, market research, and internal deal marketing. On the Equities Analysis front, my experience lies in company valuation using value investing principles including Net Asset Valuation and Earnings Power Valuation. The internships where I have gained this experience have shaped my desired career direction and given me a better understanding of investing and markets. I joined IBEP because I have always loved both business and engineering. Throughout my childhood I would build various things whether it was a motorized skateboard or homemade rocket engine; this led me to enter UT as a mechanical engineering major. I quickly learned that although I enjoyed engineering my true passion lied in business, learning how they work and how they can be made better. I found out about IBEP and realized it was the perfect option to give me engineering exposure and experience while allowing me to pursue my true passion of finance, leading me to change majors from engineering to finance. My industry interest includes Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Equity Research. Through my various internships I have found that these industries will give me a challenging environment of work that I have a genuine interest in. These industries will allow me to learn and grow as a person while helping me reach my long-term career goals.
