Biography

Born in Japan and raised in Japan and Singapore has shaped me into a flexible, punctual, and persistent person. Being able to live internationally and being bilingual has exposed me to many different cultures and perspectives that have made the person I am today. These experiences allow me to bring in a unique outlook. Majoring in Electrical Engineering, my goal is to work in a Business oriented company in an engineering role back in Asia. My father has been my role model since I was young. Like myself, he went to UT and I have always looked up to his success. He works currently works at a business company and has worked in multiple different countries throughout the years. I believe Heath IBEP is the stepping stone that will bring me closer to him. Engineering and Business both being cross-border disciplines, having experience in both of them will put me ahead of others and shape me into the person I aim to be. Through Heath IBEP, I hope to be able to improve my communication skills, gain a business perspective on top of the engineering perspective that I am already developing, and be able to integrate these two disciplines effectively. My interest lie in the world of Finacial Technology (FinTech). Over the years, everything has been becoming more and more electronic and paperless. I believe that FinTech is already and will continue to expand in the coming years. Asia being my home and being home to many of the business hubs of the world, I hope to be able to one day go back, specifically to Japan or Singapore, and become a working member of the country. With Heath IBEP, and the experiences and skills I will acquire through studying engineering will hopefully be able to land me the role and job I am passionate about.
